It tells the story of the birth of the god Huitzilopochtli, the solar god of war and conquest for the Aztecs, from the point of view of his sister, the lunar goddess Coyolxauhqui.
This was a small project for a contest, in which I wanted to show one of the many myths of the most famous pre-Hispanic culture of Mexico, the Aztecs.
Due to age restrictions and the length of the project, I did not add scenes of violence, but when the two brothers meet, Huitzilopochtli kills all his brothers and dismembers his sister, throwing them into the night sky and turning into the moon and stars.
The work is read from left to right, just like a manga.
